Janis Rice and Marshall Rice

Janis Rice was born a Michigander and was raised in Rochester Hills. Earlier she was active in sports. An executive administrative assistant with Elias Brothers Big Boy, she later became a recruiter for corporate sales candidates. This was cut short, however, with the onset of Multiple Sclerosis. Since then she has dealt with a multitude of physical issues, the longest running, MS. However, her story does not end here. Jan has been active in her church and community. She and her husband, Marshall, have established several businesses.
A native Michigander, Marshall Rice was born in Pontiac. He studied industrial design at the College for Creative Studies in Detroit and Art Center College of Design in Los Angeles. His career path began in industrial design, transitioned to design engineer, to substitute teacher and now published author. He holds a Bachelor of General Studies degree From Oakland University. Marshall also enjoys singing in the Central United Methodist church choir and plays flute in the Waterford New Horizons Concert band.
Currently, they reside in Rochester Hills, Michigan.
